Title
Meet one of South's own amazing science teachers! Mr. Warmkessel talked to us about everything from his college days to his favorite Netflix finds!
Mr. Warmkessel has been teaching for 20 years and has been at South for many years; however, his journey in education began at Ursinus, where he got his undergraduate degree. After attending Ursinus, he received his master's degree from Widner University. He began as a physics major, but after living with biology majors, he found the material interesting and decided to change his major.
At South, Mr. Warmkessel teaches a wide range of classes. During the 2015-2016 year, he is teaching AP and Honors Biology, Forensics, and Behavioral Science. Among his classes his favorite class to teach is Behavioral Science. Mr. Warmkessel's favorite part about teaching high school students is his students: he enjoys talking and being immature with them.
As for TV shows, Mr. Warmkessel's long time favorite show is M.A.S.H, but recently his favorite show has become Sherlock. He loves to get a bite to eat at Pag's Pub in Doylestown and his favorite meal there is a classic burger. An avid football lover, Mr. Warmkessel's favorite athlete is Peyton Manning and is ecstatic about the Bronco's recent Superbowl win, led by Manning.
In his free time, Mr. Warmkessel hangs out with his friends; he also enjoys running, exploring and other outdoor activities. He travels a lot and hope to do much more traveling, maybe even to his dream vacation spot, New Zealand or Mars.
