October 2014…the school was buzzing and the tensions between the grades were high. This year’s Blue, White, and Gold Night was one to remember. Starting the week prior and leading up to the actual night, every grade was getting ready to show up and be the winning team.
The tension between the junior class and the senior class was what really made the whole event memorable. Added to this tension was the senior class meeting before school in the lower lot and entering the school all together. The juniors still believed that they could pull out a win, considering they beat the seniors (then juniors) last year. Even though the juniors believed it would be an easy win this year, they were wrong and even with a great effort the seniors pulled off the win, like the many years before.
The competition among all grades was really brought to it’s peak this year and made this one of the best Blue, White and Gold Nights yet. Many students who were unsure of the event had a complete switch of mindset,
“I’m so glad I finally decided to come to BW&G Night this year, it was really so fun cheering on my teammates even though I didn’t participate,” said Amanda Sgro. She believes that this school event really was able to bring friends and classmates together and helped the whole school bond together.
Can't wait to see what next year's Blue, White and Gold Night has in store!
