This summer will be the season of country concerts for Council Rock South students. The season was kicked with the Brad Paisley concert on May 15, as part of his Crushin’ it Tour. Taylor Swift will be also be visiting Philly at Lincoln Financial Field on June 12 and 13 as part of her 1989 international tour.
Tickets to Taylor’s concert are averaging $300 on the resale market. The next big concert to hit Philadelphia is Florida Georgia Line coming to Susquehanna Bank Center on July 24. Then, Luke Bryant and Lady Antebellum will draw the summer of country to an end, as they will both perform at Susquehanna Bank Center in early September.
For the country enthusiasts, Susquehanna Bank Center is selling “The Country Megaticket” which gives fans an opportunity to see eight of the biggest concerts at the center.
Spanning from May to September, the ticket includes big concerts such as such as Brad Paisley, two nights of the Luke Bryant tour, Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw. For the minimum package with lawn seating to every show, this ticket costs $250; however, for the goal package, which includes closer seating, parking access, a ticket to the 92.5 XTU Anniversary Show and other perks, gold tickets cost $1,125. The price of a single ticket to a concert at Susquehanna Bank Center does vary depending on the artist, but they are usually relatively cheap for lawn seating.
Many Council Rock South students arrive to concerts at Susquehanna Bank Center by either train or by the RiverLink Ferry, which brings passengers from Penn’s Landing to a dock not far from the center.
